The poor depressed and unhappy population is usually most susceptible to drug abuse. After all its the only thing that makes them feel happy. Sexual experiences when on this drug is enhanced and inhibitions completely out the window. Many poor females introduced to a free sample heads of to the street corners for sex and money for their next hit.

There are some prescribed  medicine/drugs for depression which causes  dopamine release in acceptable quantities so damage is not caused.  And some of these drugs uses Chrystal meth in small quantities.

I think a person should rather find his  reason for depression and get rid of it rather than revert to drugs, legal or illegal.

The devastating effects of Chrystal Meth abuse  extends far and wide. A person who uses it will do anything to get it. Even to the point of killing. The poor usually revert to stealing. People on it  can usually not maintain any proper relationship or keep a job. Chrystal Meth rules their lives and now regulates their behavior.

It becomes his/her conscience. To an addict if he did what he could to get his drug he has done good in his own mind. Even if it meant destroying a relationship, steeling or even if it meant killing. To him he has done good and feels rewarded when he takes his shot.

It becomes his ruler and it is a greatly evil ruler. The devils drug.

A very small percentage of people trying to stop using it succeeds. One clinic reports that only 7% of people they treat stays off it. In general this figure is probably worse.
